That's why I was so excited when Jamie and Jaret contacted me about photographing their intimate elopement in Iceland. From the moment we started planning, I knew it was going to be something special.
We arrived in Reykjavik on a crisp autumn morning and spent the day exploring the city and getting everything set up for the big day. The following morning, we set out on a beautiful drive through the countryside, stopping to take in the breathtaking views and capture some stunning pre-ceremony photos.
As we arrived at the ceremony location – a secluded field overlooking a stunning fjord – the sun was just beginning to set. The golden light cast a warm glow over the entire scene, and as Jamie and Jaret exchanged vows, I could feel the love and emotion radiating off of them. It was a truly magical moment.
Over the next few days, we explored the country, taking photos at every turn. From the Sky Lagoon to the Northern Lights, every moment was filled with beauty and wonder. And as I look back at the photos from that trip, I can't help but feel grateful to have been a part of such a special and intimate celebration.
